Brunswick County to hold annual Health Fair and Water Fun Run June 18
BOLIVIA, N.C. — Brunswick County Health Services will host its annual health fair on June 18.
New to the fair this year will be a Water Fun Run which will include stations throughout the government complex where participants will be sprayed with water. This event will be free and open to the community. Registration for the Water Fun Run will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with the Water Fun Run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Walkers, runners, and strollers are encouraged to come take part in this event.
After the fun run, the Health Fair begins and vendors will be set up to provide health and wellness information along with dental, vision, glucose, and blood pressure screenings to the public. Demonstrations and simulations will also be provided by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, Brunswick County EMS, and the Bolivia Volunteer Fire Department. There will be a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages to enjoy. The event will end at 1:00 pm.
