Budget Public Hearing set for Monday, June 15

The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday June 15, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., in the Commissioners Chambers, David R. Sandifer County Administration Building at the County Government Complex near Bolivia, NC on the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2016.  A copy of the Proposed Budget Ordinance, proposed fee changes and Capital Improvement Plan are available in the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners of Brunswick County, Room 133, County Administration Building or at http://www.brunswickcountync.gov/finance/budget/.

The schedule of proposed fees, which includes all proposed new fees or fee changes, fines and costs of whatever nature, shall also be the subject of this hearing and shall include the Smithville Township tax, the municipal collection fee, Health Department charges, utility fees, and any other charge or fee collected by Brunswick County.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments from the citizenry of Brunswick County on the proposed budget, fees, and capital improvement plan.  All citizens are encouraged to attend.
