Congressman Rouzer hosting Senior Resource Fair in Brunswick County on June 28
The office of Congressman David Rouzer is hosting three Resource Fairs for Senior Citizens to help answer questions seniors may have about benefits, legal matters, healthcare needs, and more. These Resource Fairs will be taking place in Brunswick County, New Hanover County and Johnston County.
Staff from the Social Security Administration will be on hand to go over benefits and services offered, nurses to discuss the aging process and what to expect, individuals to provide information on various Medicare programs, such as Medicare Part D, as well as counselors to answer specific questions.
“Our Senior Resource Fairs put North Carolina senior citizens in touch with individuals and experts who can educate and answer questions about benefits, resources, legal matters, health tips and more,” said Rouzer. “Last year’s fairs were so well attended that we decided to add a third Resource Fair to help and assist even more citizens. I look forward to continuing these Resource Fairs so that seniors have the opportunity to increase their quality of life, stay engaged in their communities and learn more about what to expect during their sunset years.”
