FEMA Disaster Recovery Center opens Brunswick County to assist individuals with registration for assistance
FEMA has set up a mobile disaster recovery center located at the Brunswick County Emergency Services Center at 3325 Old Ocean Highway, Bolivia NC 28422. The center will assist residents with registrations for assistance from Hurricane Matthew as well as Small Business Administration and FEMA Mitigation issues for individuals.
The center is currently scheduled to be open the following dates and times:
- Wednesday Nov. 9 till 6 p.m.
- Thursday Nov. 10th from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Friday Nov. 11th from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday Nov. 12th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Sunday Nov. 13th closed.
Additional days may be added, but that is yet to be determined.
The last day to register for FEMA Assistance is currently scheduled as December 12th.
Additionally, FEMA will have teams of individuals working throughout the county attempting to locate and assist others who may need assistance. These teams should be wearing FEMA apparel and will have FEMA credentials with them to identify them as FEMA Disaster Workers.
