Repairs Require Lane Closures on Holden Beach Bridge in Brunswick County

Drivers on the Holden Beach Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway should expect to encounter intermittent lane closures beginning Tuesday, Jan. 9.

The closure is needed so Department of Transportation crews can safely repair concrete erosion that was discovered during a recent inspection. 

The closures will be in place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day until Friday, Jan. 12. Transportation officials urge motorists to drive carefully through the work zone.
