Statement on Star-News article

Today the Wilmington Star-News posted a brief article on their website which resulted from a press release I distributed related to one of my business interests.  While the article was a positive one, it referenced the fact that I am a Brunswick County Commissioner.  By design, the press release omitted the fact that I am a commissioner, as I do not feel it would be ethical or proper to use my public title to promote a private business interest.
