System Pressure Advisory Rescinded: along George II Highway, all of Boiling Spring Lakes, Jericho Road to the end of Bethel Road, the Southport area, Southport-Supply Road (south of Dosher Cut-off) Dosher Cut-Off, E. Leonard Street through E. Moore Street
09.26.2018 — Based on the laboratory analysis of water samples collected on September 25, 2018, water consumers of Brunswick County Public Utilities located along George II Highway, all of Boiling Spring Lakes, Jericho Road to the end of Bethel Road, including Winding Creek and Walden Creek subdivisions (off River Road north of Smithville Township Park) the Southport area (along River Road to South of Smithville Township Park) through Jabbertown Road, Southport-Supply Road (south of Dosher Cut-off) Dosher Cut-Off, and E. Leonard Street through E. Moore Street are hereby notified that it is no longer necessary to boil water or use bottled water for human consumption. Areas still under the System Pressure Advisory are: Southport-Supply Road (north of Dosher Cut-off) to St. James Dr., River Mist, all of the Long Beach Road area, all of Caswell Beach and St. James Plantation. Brunswick County Water Quality crews are currently sampling in those areas.
