Town of Leland to Update Future Growth Plan in public workshop Nov. 10-13
LELAND, NC — Beginning on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, the Town of Leland begins a four-day public workshop to consider updates to the Town’s 2009 Master Plan.
“We’re fortunate to live and work in a region that’s among the most appealing in the coastal Carolinas,” says Leland Mayor Brenda Bozeman. “And we want to make sure we’re positioning ourselves to face the challenges and to leverage the opportunities of what comes next. This is the community process that will help us do that.”
Among the questions to consider over the four days: Has the experience of the last half-decade given us a clearer view of what’s ahead for our region? Anything different about Leland’s aspirations? The Town’s capacities?
The schedule of sessions is on the project website: www.lelandmasterplan.com. All meetings will be held at Leland Town Hall, 102 Town Hall Drive, Leland, NC 28451.
Background info, including the 2009 Master Plan and more details about the process, can also be found on the site.
