Williams participating in 2021-22 N.C. Leadership Forum cohort
Brunswick County Commissioner Frank Williams, who also serves as President of the N.C. Association of County Commissioners, is participating in the N.C. Leadership Forum’s 2021-22 cohort. The cohort will discuss how to improve healthcare outcomes in North Carolina.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to participate in the N.C. Leadership Forum,” said Williams. “In today’s political climate it is increasingly difficult to have substantive, civil discourse about the critical issues facing North Carolina. I look forward to getting to know the other participants, hearing from them, and sharing my insights with them.”
The North Carolina Leadership Forum (NCLF) provides an opportunity for civic, business, and political leaders from across North Carolina to discuss issues central to the future of our state. The Forum provides a venue for North Carolina leaders to discuss the nature of the challenges, to understand different points of view about how to address them, and to advance mutually acceptable solutions that improve the lives of North Carolinians. NCLF is a program of the Office of the Provost at Duke University and is jointly funded by the Duke Endowment, the John William Pope Foundation, and the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. Former North Carolina Governors Jim Martin (R) and Jim Hunt (D) serve as honorary co-chairs of NCLF. For more information, visit https://sites.duke.edu/nclf.
