Brunswick County Under Hurricane Warning; Life-Threatening Flooding Possible

As of the 11 a.m. advisory Hurricane Matthew’s forecast track has shifted to the north, bringing it closer to Brunswick County and Cape Fear. Brunswick County is now under a hurricane warning, meaning hurricane conditions are expected within 36 hours.  This storm is expected to bring torrential rains, possibly producing life-threatening flooding.
