Williams addresses N.C. State Board of Community Colleges

Brunswick County Commissioner Frank Williams, who also serves as President of the N.C. Association of County Commissioners, addressed the N.C. State Board of Community Colleges in Raleigh on Thursday, March 17. Williams was joined by Laurel Edwards, NCACC’s Director of Policy Planning. Williams and Edwards discussed a number of critical issues that present opportunities for Counties to partner with our state’s community colleges, including workforce training, engaging disconnected youth and, of course, emergency preparedness.
