Williams, Thompson, Edwards address NC Emergency Managers Association

N.C. Association of County Commissioners President Frank Williams, a Brunswick County Commissioner, addressed attendees at the N.C. Emergency Management Association conference in New Hanover County on Nov. 1, 2021.

Williams, who was joined by Brunswick County Board of Commissioners Chairman Randy Thompson and NCACC Director of Strategic Initiatives Laurel Edwards, discussed his 100 Counties Prepared NCACC Presidential Initiative. Thompson serves as a Co-Chair of the 100 Counties Prepared Task Force, and Edwards is the NCACC staff lead for the initiative.

Williams said, “Our staff-level emergency management personnel are critically important team members, and we look forward to an even stronger partnership with their association.”
