NCACC President Frank Williams Appoints 100 Counties Prepared Task Force

Amid the peak of the Atlantic Basin’s 2021 hurricane season, NCACC President Frank Williams announced the following appointments to the 100 Counties Prepared Task Force, which will guide his year-long initiative to equip county commissioners with resources and tools to lead effectively during emergency situations.

“I’m grateful that such a diverse group of county leaders representing every corner of North Carolina has agreed to serve on the 100 Counties Prepared Task Force, which is led by a pair of highly capable Co-Chairs. I look forward to working with the task force to build a culture of preparedness in all 100 counties. My vision is for every county commissioner to have access to the information and resources they need to be better prepared to lead when an emergency comes their way,” said Williams.
